We’re having a car show at my college this sunday, I’m hoping to meet some girls (a girl?) who’s into old cars. I’m sure it’s open to all kinds of cars, but I don’t know if I should take my ‘67 Mustang or my ‘47 Ford hot rod.

Personally I think the ‘47 is cooler, but I don’t know if the college aged students (girls) would really *get it*. It’s a ’50’s style traditional hot rod. My friend told me it’d get me a girl rough around the edges, not that it’s in bad shape.

The mustang I think would be a little more thier speed, but I don’t think it’s as unique. I’ve seen other old mustangs around the campus.

We have a GSW Series 5 Gas Water Heater that is probably 6-10 years old (is there a way to found out how old it is? We don’t have paperwork, we moved into the house 6 years ago). Just recently, the water is yellowish and orangey when we turn on the hot water anywhere in the house (the cold water is clear). I read some answers to similar questions and we pulled out the anode rod (I think) and it wasn’t eaten away and according to some Home Depot folks, the rod was still good. We flushed out the water from the heater for a good 10 minutes and the hot water was still discolored. Is there ANYTHING else we can do besides replacing the heater? I would really appreciate sound advice as it is financially difficult for us to purchase a new water heater.
I forgot to note: when we drained it, the water was VERY rusty but when we run the faucets for hot water anywhere in the house, the rustiness isn’t as bad as the drained water. Does that mean anything?

I’ve got really long hair, down to my butt, What is the best way to curl it? I’ve used curling Irons of various sizes and my hair just doesn’t seem to hold a curl. It’s not like I’ve got poker straight hair either, it’s naturally wavy. People have suggested hot rollers and those little bend rods(not sure of the name) but I don’t want to invest in something that’s just not going to work anyway. I also was wondering if there are any products that really work and might help out. Please help don’t tell me I’m doomed because of my long locks.
It’s not like my hair wont hold a curl it just seems like the extra few inches it grew are stubern and now it al falls out. I’ve tried the braiding thing and don’t really like the look I want more of a spiral look.
